Mt. Rainier Winter Seminar, April 2000

In 2000, one of my friends convinced me to take the RMI winter expedition course. With the snow and the mountain against me, I was actually able to summit via the Gibraltar Ledge route, which is very rare for an RMI winter expedition. I had the time of my life, as this climb sealed the deal. Every climb after this had one goal -- to get me ready for the seven summits.
