At the beginning of 2001, I really wanted to take a trip to the Himalayas but I couldn't convince anyone to join me, so instead I decided to take the RMI Winter Expedition Seminar again. We didn't summit this time, but I learned a whole lot more. I was introduced to ice climbing for the first time!
