On the last day of the trip, a few
of us still wanted to do some hiking so chose the short
49 Palms
Oasis trail. This is a relatively short hike, but a spectacular one in which
the brown landscape is interrupted with random Palm Trees
. As you get
closer to the Oasis you notice how out of place these green giants really are -
. Once you
are there
you are
awed by the sheer size of these giant palm trees
thriving on
random pools of water
.
Joe and Aaron decided they were
going to be twins today just to confuse Karin.
